At the pandemic’s zenith, border closures impacted not just tourists but also patients urgently requiring medical attention, as many hospitals shifted their focus to local needs and national health priorities.
Motivated by our unwavering commitment to providing ‘Hope Without Boundaries,’ Sheba worked tirelessly to ensure that every international patient in need of our unique expertise received life-saving care, even during Israel’s strict lockdown.
In an attempt to support clinicians from afar, even when physical meetings became unfeasible, Sheba created the REACT 2021 online event.
Recognizing oncology as an area of particular need, REACT 2021 was designed to allow clinicians from across the globe to interact and gain insights into the latest advances in cancer care from leading Sheba specialists, establishing a new global medical community in the process.
